enjoy the little things....

I was at Houseblend picking up a few things with a giftcard I received from a great friend (thanks Nelle).  While I was browsing around, I happened upon a small frame with this quote....

"enjoy the little things...for one day you will look back and realize they were the big things."

While I was reading that, the Lord spoke to me about my life. 

I know I have busy days with four little ones running here and there...I chose it...to be a mom...and God definitely blessed me.  It can become consuming all the laundry, dishes, diapers, baths, messy floors. 

But one thing I need to remember.  Those things will always be there.  There will always be clothes to wash, dishes to clean, floors to sweep. I need to choose more of the things that really matter...like spending some time playing in the floor with my boys or putting on nail polish and having tea with my sweet Ella.  Motherhood is a tough job and I don't want to get it wrong...thank God for his wisdom and grace.  Be blessed as you choose the important things too!!
