a fun idea

A FUN IDEA FOR GETTING ALL MY KIDS' ATTENTION....

If you are like me, sometimes you have several children trying to get your attention at the same time. So here's my idea for getting children to become quiet and you can regain control instead of having to raise your voice. This works at home as well as in any classroom setting. It also works well with one child or multiple children. 

Children of all ages love games. When the children are all in disarray, speak up and say, "Everyone raise your hands (wait), touch your head (wait), touch your back, slide your hands to your shoulders (wait), touch your cheeks (wait), now your nose, now put your hands over your mouth. Older and younger kids alike will become so focused on what to do next that they won't realize you have gained their attention. Works every time!

When you want them to look at you then you can also say things like...everyone look at the ceiling, my shirt, the light, the tv, the door, now my eyes. Now you have their attention because they are looking at your eyes.
