one of my favorite things to do
is to bring women together for a
night full of food and fellowship.
is to bring women together for a
night full of food and fellowship.
my friend, Katie, and i hosted a fun
night last week at my house.
it was called
~cozy your home for fall~
it was called
~cozy your home for fall~
the ladies all started off in the kitchen
filling up on some hot tea, cakes,
dark chocolate and fruit.
after we ate, everyone
made their way to the table.
this is where our souls got fed.
we laughed together.
i read a few scriptures i felt the
Lord wanted me to share with
the gals about how we are all
•chosen by God•
for this exact moment in time...
each of us...
right where we are...
in our homes.
I shared that we, as women, are the
~heart of our home~
and there is no better way to
cozy up our space
than to begin with our own
attitudes within our home.
i believe, at least for my home,
that's what truly makes a
cozy home for our family.
~my heart and attitude behind
everything i do within our walls~
if i'm being honest, sometimes it's
a lot less cozy than at other times.
we also encouraged one another.
we all shared fun and practical
ideas to make our home a haven.
we took some good notes.
we passed out pretty autumn
printables on card stock so we could
hang in frames around our home.
one of my favorites is the
•fall bucket list•
of moments we want to
check (tick) off over the
next few weeks.
we each walked away with prints
and new ideas to cozy up our home.
each of the ladies brought
a mug and at the end of the
night everyone picked out
a new mug to take home.
that was so much fun.
there were lots of pretty
cups to choose from.
i can't wait for our next gathering.
we'll be learning how to
"stretch" our dollars for christmas.
i'll also be sharing my testimony of
how God "stretched" me for an entire
year prior to our move to wales.
we'll also be crafting up a few
"stretchy" lovelies for ourselves.
anyone notice the theme for
our next get together?
if you live close to us and
are interested in joining
us for one of our upcoming
nights, please email me.
if you want to begin your
own women's group, but
need a little help, send me
a message. i'd love to
share some ideas to help
get you started.
who can you invite
over this next week?
a friend or a few neighbors?
start with one, sweet friends.
