book club

let me introduce you to my dear friend shanna. she lives on the other side of the atlantic in the beautiful state of tennessee. we met at church and have been friends for almost six years. she's been married to jeremy for twelve years and has two of the most adorable kids, bailey and cash. she inspires me in many ways and always sends out the best christmas cards!

when we went back to america for christmas, i spent a few hours with her catching up on life. shanna and i talked about 2016 and what that looks like for us in the spiritual aspect of things. we both want God's best for our lives. we both have a desire to grow closer to God.

we decided to hold each other accountable and spur one another on this year. one of the ways we plan to grow in our walk with God is by reading more books together. we've discussed some book titles and found one we both think we will love. this time around we are reading the fringe hours by jessica n. turner.

what's even better is that we don't want to do this by ourselves. we've turned this into an online book club of sorts. we're looking for other ladies, like ourselves, who just want to grow. women who want to grow spiritually. women who want to be encouraged.

if that sounds like you, then join us! our online book club begins february 8th and will run throughout the month of march. we'll have a reading plan, but you are always welcome to read at your own pace.

we've created a facebook group and several ladies have already joined. we'll be able to interact with one another as we read through the book together. i just know it will be full of encouragement to inspire us in our walk with God this year!
