may bookstack

the temperature is beginning to warm up here in wales. when the days get hotter, our book stack tends to get a little shorter as the beautiful weather is drawing us outdoors. i'm really happy about the few in my stack i've selected to read through. here they are...

i began reading the lifegiving home set in april. it has been so good that i decided to slow down and savour every word.

here is a short summary from the back cover of both books:

the lifegiving home will lead you on a new path to creating special memories for your children; establishing God-centered traditions; and cultivating an environment your family will cherish their whole lives through.

the lifegiving home experience provides touch points to guide you in your own plans, ideas, and dreams for what you want your home to become.

the next two books are currently what i read aloud each morning to my kids. they are short reads so i'm sure i will be finished well before the end of the month.

here is the summary for both...

the fifth volume of God's generals for kids tells the story of evan roberts. he was an unusual child and a very caring boy. few guessed he would grow up to be used by God as one of the key preachers in the welsh revival of 1904-1905.

the garden the curtain and the cross: a very long time ago, right here in this world,  there was a garden. in the garden, everything was wonderful. the world was full of laughing and playing and smiling and fun. There was nothing bad, ever. but then,  one day...

what's in your stack for the month, dear readers? share away.
