Ice skating

pretending that paper plates are ice skates is one of my favorite indoor activities to do with my little ones in january. i've been playing this game in my home for nearly 10 years now and it never gets boring.

another fun idea, buy a bag of cotton balls and have a snowball fight with each other. i've even sprinkled the cotton balls all over the kids while they pretended to make snow angels on the floor.
